In this ancient, sleep-based meditation, we are guided in a series of simple techniques using a combination of subtle body movements and breath, coordinated with conscious awareness. Yoga Nidra promotes a deeply relaxed state, much like REM sleep, while remaining deeply alert and conscious. Resting here, we can experience a profound sense of inner stillness and peace which permeates our whole body and being. Our whole body is able to reset, rebalance and recalibrate.
Cindy will infuses each class with specially designed sound healing, including Himalayan and crystal bowls, crystal planet chimes, planetary gongs and other instruments to deepen the healing effects of the practice.
You are welcome to bring an eye pillow or covering, and an extra blanket and/or pillow for comfort.
